Summer School

Purpose:

The NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute for Robust Institute for Quantum Simulation (RQS) is planning its second annual inclusive and immersive summer school. We aim to provide graduate students and postdocs with a broad background on which they can build their understanding of the existing challenges in quantum simulation and create opportunities for collaboration. 

Dates: Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11, 2024

Location: University of Rhode Island, Room 170, 7 Greenhouse Rd, Kingston, RI 02881

Registration: There is a $15 registration fee for the summer school. Attendance is limited. Once registration is open, please complete the registration process to submit your interest in attending. We will review each application and respond separately via email to update you on the outcome of the review process. Please do not make any travel plans until you receive a confirmation. This procedure applies only to the summer school due to limited attendance.

Focus: 

The focus of the 2024 summer school is on many-body systems, combining both theoretical and numerical techniques with examples from quantum hardware experiments.
